In just a few short hours, we checked off all of our bucket list, fish that we wanted to catch. He took us straight to the spots, and we started catching fish relatively fast. His passion for fishing shows through his work. He was an absolute blast to be around. Definitely try him out. You have no idea what you’re missing if you don’t.

If you are looking for a personalized chater this is it. Jeremy is the best!!! He will put you right on top of the fish or if your family gets sick he will accommodate for that too. We will be back and telling everyone to go see him.

Jeremy wasn't a fishing guide, he was like a life time fishing buddy that was sharing his honey hole with you need just found. (I hope that's what they call it on the ocean, that's what we call it on the river and lakes in the mid west.) He was our friend from the start of making out reservation to right now... My son moved to PCB last year, me and my wife didn't really like it since we're in Kansas, but knowing my son now has a friend like Jeremy it's a little better now. The time we had on the water was perfect, we caught a lot of snapper, and also hooked into a shark. Just a few seconds after I hooked the shark, that had eaten most likely the biggest snapper of the day I realized I was too old to fight this fight...I handed the pole to my son and getting to watch my boy fight a shark for what seemed like hours was about as good as watching him take his first defense turnover in for a touchdown. I got to watch my son catch a freaking shark. Thanks again Jeremy I'll never forget this first time, and I knew we will see you again for more perfect memories and fishing.

We had a great trip with Captain Jeremy . We were pushed a day due to weather, which wasn’t an issue at all (can’t control the weather), we waited for about 30 minutes after we arrived, Captain had to get bait. When we made it out on the water, we stopped again to get live bait. We drove for about 30 minutes to the first fishing spot, all the while my brother in law and Captain Jeremy were chatting it up. On the way out we got the chance to see dolphins and enjoyed the F-22 flyovers, front be Air Force base nearby. The weather was great, we moved to 4 to 5 different spots throughout the day. Fish weren’t biting (can’t control that) the captain did everything he could to get fish on our hooks. At the last spot of the day we ended up catching 10 vermillion snappers (they tasted amazing). One of the best things about fishing trip was that the Captain taught us how he fishes, he was telling us what to expect, how to properly cast (so not to create a birds nest in the reel), he showed us what the rod would look like when a fish was on and how to properly reel it in. He also made sure to watch our lines and coach us until we caught one, then let us go in our own. It was also nice when he showed us how to properly bait the hook and told us if he was busy with one of us to not wait and just go. I liked that a lot. Sometimes the captains make you feel like a child when you have to wait for them to bait the hook. This captain wanted us to fish and get as many as possible in the time we had. I would highly recommend Captain Jeremy. He was even telling us the best way to cook the fish, told us how to make a good ceviche, and all around great fisherman. If you want to have a great fishing trip with a true Panama City Fisherman, Captain Jeremy is your man.

Going out with Jeremy was like going out with my friends for the day. Not only, did He know where the fish were, he knew how to keep us on top of them. From the moment he dropped his trolling motor, until the moment we caught our limit, he was coaching me on technique and baiting my hook. I was completely worn out at the end of our trip. I caught so many fish that we had to throw back more than we kept. I even had a battle with a dolphin. It grabbed one of the Red Snappers on the way up to the boat. He chased it it down multiple times as it spooked me over and over. I wanted to break the line off but he knew that the dolphin would let it go eventually. All we got back was the head and spine from that fight. It was exhilarating to say the least. He was professional, fun to hang out with and very knowledgeable. I will definitely be back on the boat with him during my next trip to Panama City Beach! Never have I ever had so much fun and felt so comfortable on a boat with anyone before. My vote for Best Captain this year goes to Jeremy Vanderveen!!! Thank You Jeremy. I’ll see you soon my friend.

What a day on the water! We spent the whole trip hauling in big Snapper, Triggerfish, and some massive Red Grouper. Hooked into a Cobia for a bit, but he gave us the slip—there’s always next time, Mr. Cobia!

Captain Jeremy was fantastic! Our family of four had an incredible time out on the water. It was the first fishing trip for both my daughter and me, and my husband and son couldn’t have been happier. We targeted Spanish Mackerel and even got into some Red Snapper! Captain Jeremy shared a lot of knowledge with my son during the 3-hour trip—he truly knows the local waters and is a pleasure to be around. We’re already looking forward to booking another trip with him!

We had a great time fishing with Captain Jeremy. We had never been charter fishing before and my son had requested to go, so we booked the trip. Captain Jeremy taught us the basics and kept us going with our lines in the water and reeling in the fish. He was excellent as far as communication before and after the trip (sending us the pics of our catches and thanking us for the booking). He even let my son play his music on the boats bluetooth radio. I would definitely book with him again.

Captain Jeremy was great! First he worked with us to find the best fishing window possible for the week that we were down there and very accommodating. During our fishing trip he worked really hard to get us on the fish despite the unforeseen choppy water/wind and some boat issues! We were not disappointed as we left with enough fish for several family meals. He was even so kind as to clean them all when we got back. Definitely recommend him if you are looking for a great guide in the area.

We’ve been on several fishing trips during our travels, but Captain Jeremy stands out as the best by far. He’s friendly, easygoing, and goes the extra mile to make sure everyone has a great time and gets on the fish. Huge thanks to Jeremy—my family had an unforgettable experience. Captain Jeremy was amazing, put us on some amazing fish, I ended up catching a 15lbs. Red snapper and some huge gag grouper. He had many jokes and stories to keep conversation going throughout the trip to make it fun. I had a few lines snap on me and he happily changed them without getting mad. He took us longer then scheduled because there was some leeway in-between our tour and the next one for the day. I've gone on many fishing tours and Captain Jeremy was hands down the best.

Highly recommend using Jeremy! Will definitely book again! Very friendly and knowledgeable, had us catching fish 🐠 the whole time and had great spots for fishing 🎣! ❤️ ❤️
